Why Salient

Hospital medicine advice informed by operating experience.

Hospitalist problems rarely fit inside a single function. A coverage decision changes workload and cost. A revenue gap may begin in physician workflow. A technology choice can add work unless it fits the program. Salient brings hospital leadership, hospitalist operations, and professional revenue-cycle experience to these decisions.

How the work is organized

Each engagement starts with an agreed decision and scope. We identify the data and stakeholders needed, explain the analytical approach, and report the assumptions and limitations. Recommendations connect to specific actions, accountable roles, and measures the client can use. Where specialized clinical, coding, technical, or other review is required, the engagement identifies who performs it. Follow-on support is defined around approved actions rather than a promise to operate the hospitalist program.

Relationships and recommendations

Salient MD discloses relevant commercial relationships at the outset of an engagement. When evaluating vendors or operating alternatives, recommendations are based on criteria established with the client.
