Who this is for and the decision we support
CEOs, CMOs, CIOs, CFOs, hospitalist leaders, and revenue-cycle leaders evaluating documentation tools, workflow support, charge reconciliation, coding review, or related AI investments. The decision is what to pursue, what to defer, and how to measure whether a selected use case helps.
AI Readiness and Opportunity Assessment
We review the workflow problem, available data, systems already in use, affected users, existing controls, and operating costs. Your team provides workflow access, relevant system and vendor information, baseline measures, and clinical, IT, security, coding, and operational stakeholders as appropriate. You receive a prioritized use-case assessment, readiness findings, an estimate of benefits and costs, and a recommended sequence for action. Each use case records workflow fit, evidence quality, integration dependencies, responsible reviewers, human oversight, and conditions for stopping. Existing system capabilities and non-AI process changes are considered alongside new tools.
AI enabled revenue and workflow strategy
For a selected opportunity, we help define the proposed workflow, human review responsibilities, evaluation criteria, and pilot plan. A revenue-cycle design may address documentation support, reconciliation, coding review, or denial prevention. The output is a business case and implementation plan, with technical delivery responsibilities assigned.
Experience and delivery boundaries
Work surrounding Hospitalist Hub informs Salient’s operational understanding of clinical context, documentation, physician prioritization, and AI governance. That development experience informs evaluation and planning; it does not establish measured client outcomes from deployed AI. Salient’s role is operational strategy, workflow design, governance planning, and implementation oversight as scoped. Software engineering, production integration, cybersecurity assessment, and specialist clinical validation require identified client teams or qualified partners. Technical implementation is separately scoped. Recommendations consider alternatives available to the client. Hospitalist Hub is not the default solution; any relevant commercial relationship is disclosed before an evaluation.
