We were very pleased with our Salient engagement. Our program was not in a stable state and with the guidance and planning with our Salient partners, a plan was put into place that has brought us to a stable state. We still have work to do, but we feel good about the direction we are headed and this sentiment is echoed by the medical staff now on a regular basis. Our hospitalists were leery of “another consultant,” but what sets Salient apart is that they were not viewed as consultants, but as a company in the hospitalist business that brought tangible best practices to the table versus suggestions or ideas that had not been previously tested.
